Meet My Melanin Movement

We were very pleased with our partnership between the CommUnity Zone and Jetta Harrison, founder of the Meet My Melanin Movement! This project has the goal of uplifting and celebrating Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) individuals through the power of photography and storytelling. Meet My Melanin is about healing, revealing, and shattering stereotypes. A display of photos and stories was featured in the Samek Art Gallery in Lewisburg, and events took place there and at the Campus Theatre to celebrate diversity and personal stories in our region!
